Hours of Operation

Important

It is always advised to call ahead at 604-929-2268 for updated hours and availability as Deep Cove Canoe and Kayak Centre reserves the right to cancel reservations or shut down operations due to inclement weather or other safety hazards.

Beachfront Location

ALL HOURS OF OPERATION ARE WEATHER DEPENDANT - Please call our beachfront location prior to coming down to confirm our hours.

April	Open 7 days a week: 10:00 am to dusk (around 6 pm)
May & June	Weekdays: 10:00 am to dusk (7:30pm - 8:00pm) Weekends: 9:00 am to dusk (7:30pm - 8:00pm)
June	Weekdays: 9:00 am to dusk (8:30pm - 9:00pm) Weekends: 9:00 am to dusk (9:00pm)
July	Weekdays: 9:00 am to dusk (9:00 pm) Weekends: 8:00 am to dusk (9:00 pm)
August	Weekdays: 8:00 / 9:00am to dusk (8:00pm -9:00pm) Weekends: 8:00 am to dusk (8:00pm - 9:00pm)

The last date for regular rentals in 2012 will be the 27th -28th of October.

November to February Not open for individual rentals. Group lessons and tours are possible with prior arrangements. Please call 604-929-2268 or email for more information.

Please make note of the following:

The minimum boat rental length is two hours, and the last boat launch is two hours prior to dusk.
On some Tuesdays and Thursdays between April and September, we may close early for general rentals due to our weekly kayaking events. Please call ahead. Furthermore, certain boats may have to be returned early on Tuesday evenings for use in the race.
Lessons may extend past our posted hours of operation. However, general rentals are governed by our regular hours of operation.
