A revolution in dry suits, the Kokatat Idol dry suit in Goretex with SwitchZip technology separates completely at the waist giving paddlers the versatility of a dry suit, dry top AND dry pants in one.
The SwitchZip around the waist is cleverly strategically placed. It means there is no need for a separate relief zipper, and we all know what less zippers means - less chance of things going wrong. Kokatat also claims that the zipper naturally sits between the backband and the seat - and we believe them! That means no abrasion, and comfort for you.
No longer do you need to take multiple items on a trip with you - the Idol means you can adapt to conditions as they are presented. Just use the pants if you are just hanging out around camp, the dry top if you’re paddling in light rain, or the full dry suit when you really need the full protection.
The full separation also makes the Kokatat Idol dry suit much easier to put on and take off than traditional dry suits. As you’d expect, the suit features Kokatat’s exclusive 3-layer Evolution GORE-TEX® Pro Shell fabric, used in combination with 330 Cordura GORE-TEX® Pro Shell and is backed by Kokatat’s lifetime warranty.
