Fischer's Superlite ski has been popular with those who like the glide of a race ski and the better control and stability of a touring ski for many years. Now Fischer adds the Zero base which is fast and reliable.

Universal stone grind base finish: for perfect gliding properties in all snow conditions
Zero grip surface has proven to work over a wide span of conditions, not just limited to fresh wet snow at 32F degrees. The base can be sanded to create a velvet-like nap, and can be modified to suit individual skill level. In most situations, the grip and the glide has been superior to patterned grip bases. Unlike other "waxless" grip bases, with the zero there is no buzzing, nor does the base interfere with edging during turning maneuvers
