The Chatham 17 is a low volume touring kayak designed for the paddler who likes to test themselves in adventure paddling. The very full chine provides great stability for a narrow beamed kayak. The Chatham 17 is very responsive to a lean making it incredibly maneuverable, especially in moving water. Deploy the skeg and the Chatham becomes a hard tracking kayak. In addition to a fore and aft storage hatch the Chatham is equipped with a third day hatch.
