According to Madshus, the elite racers that they consulted with on the boot wanted three things: a lightweight boot, which gave better transference of power and was therefore very fast. They achieved this in the Super Nano Skate through a number of methods including a whole forged-carbon sole in one piece with the heel to give the greatest torsional stability around.
