The front deck is lowered to increase windage and the seat moved up 2″ to give a better position to smaller and mid sized paddlers. Heavier paddlers and those who regularly paddle 6’+ waves are probably better suited to the classic V10. The V10L has an adjustable footbrace with self adjusting pedals that will fit shorter leg lengths - accommodating paddlers from 4’11” to 6’3″ tall.
