The 12’6” TR-X utilizes carbon fiber construction for maximum weight savings, the 12’6” TR-X is built with Bamboo/ Carbon™ technology for ultimate light weight and durability. Bottom line, the 12’6” TR-X is fast, beautiful, and just as comfortable on the race course as it is on a long tour.
Construction technology uses a full carbon/kevlar bottom and bamboo veneer deck in combination with high pressure/ high temperature molds for superior strength, stiffness, beauty and light weight
The 12’6” TR-X 27 is the narrower version. At 27 inches wide and 217 liters, it is sized to fit lighter paddlers who don’t need the extra width for stability. For their size, it will have the same combination of speed and stability as the TR-X 29 for larger paddlers, but more tuned to their geometry because it has the added benefit of allowing the paddle stroke to be closer in line with their narrow shoulders. The narrow width of the TR-X 27 also makes it slightly faster, for any size advanced riders heading out on the race course
