Our Summer Explorer Series offer 4 different experiences:Deep Cove Explorer
The 3-hour Deep Cove Explorer is a must - an experience you will not forget! During this relaxing guided paddle you will explore Deep Cove and the southern part of Indian Arm, learn about local history and relish the beauty of our surrounding mountains. Nestled in our personal fjord, you will find harbour seals, eagles, sea stars and other wildlife in a rich marine environment.
The Deep Cove Explorer is open to all abilities; our professional guides will cover the basic concepts of kayaking before getting on the water. A beverage and snack are included in this tour.

Evening Explorer Tour
This 3-hour tour is perfect for paddlers of all abilities. Our sheltered inlet provides a great location for an evening paddle. Join our experienced guides on a beautiful evening as they share local history under the setting sun. Our professional guides will cover the basic concepts of kayaking before getting on the water.

Island Explorer
This 5-hour tour is perfect for people who want to kick back and enjoy a relaxing day on the water exploring the nooks and crannies of Southern Indian Arm. After a short paddle along the western shore we'll cross to Twin Islands for a delicious lunch and maybe a swim. The white-shelled beach is the perfect place to snorkel, beachcomb or suntan. After lunch, we'll get back in the boats and enjoy the afternoon island-hopping back to Deep Cove.
There is no experience necessary for this tour; lunch and all equipment are included. Lunch: sandwich (choices of roast beef, turkey/cranberry, tuna or veggie), salad, drink, and donut.

Full Moon Evening Explorer
This evening paddle has become legendary. We venture out on the night of the full moon with hopes of seeing it rise over the eastern mountains and flood Indian Arm with its silvery light. Your guide will discuss the effects of the moon on tides as well as teach you about safe paddling during the night. Please bring a white light flashlight or headlamp.

What to bring
- Mandatory:
secure wet footwear, swimsuit, insulating long sleeved non-cotton top, water bottle, towel, and a change of clothes. - Recommended:
non-cotton toque or brimmed hat, sunscreen, sunglasses with strap. - * A limited number of drysuits are available for rent on a first come first served basis for $10 per lesson. Wetsuits and paddling tops are provided at no charge.
* We have limited space at our shop. Please leave valuables at home or in your vehicle. Or bring along a drybag.
